Good news: Our return package from the U.S. Department of State arrived today! Yay!

The salutation on the certification cracks me up:
To all to whom these presents shall come, Greetings:

Good grief, that’s antiquated language!

I was reminded, when noting the fancy little attachment thingy that keeps the four pages (the notarized power of attorney form, the county certification, the state certification, and the federal certification) together, that our agency told us to make sure we copied these pages before it was all assembled, because we can’t take it apart. Whoops. I did copy the notarized form, but not the county and state pages. Oh well, I’ll get creative with the copier and figure it out.

In other good news, Craig heard back from his doctor’s office today. They found the form and they have plans to have the notary come by tomorrow to witness the doctor’s signature. Hallelujah.

[Geez, three posts in one day. Sorry.]
