just in time for spring

I finished this scarf earlier this week. It’s not exactly scarf-wearing weather anymore, although this is pretty light weight due to the bamboo blend yarn and the lacy pattern, so maybe I can still wear it once or twice before putting it away. This was an easy knit that could have been done in a couple of weeks if I had ever spent any time on it. Instead, I started it in October and finished it in April.

Pattern: Two Weeknights with Warrick by Karin Bole
Yarn: Brooks Farm Willow (17)
Needles: US 7 (4.5mm)

I have one more half-finished project to complete, and then I’m going to learn the continental style of knitting, which will supposedly be less taxing on my hands, which seem to get worn out easily with my current style of knitting, and better for the tendonitis in my thumb.

Oh! That would definitely still get some wear in my area-we still have chilly weather here. I want to learn how to knit….someday. 🙂 It’ll be a good hobby to pass the time, that’s for sure.
